My name is Alessandra, but I go by Ali.

INFJ (Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, Judging). Enneatype Four with a Three wing. Hopeful, sweeping romantic. Potential best friend. Lover of music. Human case of emotion.

I went to Willamette University, and graduated in May 2012. I majored in Theatre with an Acting Emphasis. 

I currently live in SW Portland, OR. I may consider moving somewhere else in the future. We shall see.

I’m figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Not yet sure.

In November I finished volunteering full-time for Organizing for America, which was President Obama’s grassroots team. Imagine I am Olivia Wilde. (Please?)

I have often been told I would be good at stand-up, but I do like sitting down quite a lot so, there’s that.

I post a lot of fashion-related stuff. My measurements are about 51-39-54. I’m 5’8”.

On the spectrum of sexuality, I’m pretty dang straight. I have only had one relationship, which lasted from May 2011-January 2012. He never fell in love with me, which was extremely painful to learn. I have only been kissed in a romantic context by one boy. This is frustrating to me at a more base level, because I really enjoy kissing and it is confusing to me that not all men want to kiss me. At a deeper level, because I am basically overflowing with love, essentially overflowing with myself, and it helps to have someone to share myself with. Sometimes that whole bursting at the seams thing hurts. And I’m not going to lie, sometimes I worry that I’m going to die alone and unshared. Especially because I have some trust issues after years - let’s face it, my entire life - of being let down by people I open up to.

That said, I also appreciate sharing myself with good friends, which I unfortunately seem to have a minimal amount of due mostly, it seems, to the passage of time and happenstance.

I essentially have about three friends here in Portland that I could call up and hang out with without it being weird. One of them is Jessica, she’s my main squeeze. Another is Mallori, who I met through OFA. The other is Nicky, who is a bro. I also have two best friend soulmates who live in San Diego, who I get to visit once a year.

Maybe some day I’ll write a long post about my religious views, but let’s keep it simple - I believe God is love, and as such, love, in all its forms, is the most important thing in my life. I’m kind of a hippie Christian. I believe in evolution and science and all that. But I also believe in love. I believe that if you are a loving person, then you are deserving of love, no matter who you are. If you’re a hateful person, then you’re kind of a dick and probably need to work some stuff out.
